MR. Takashi Igarashi

Hon. Chairman

Takashi Igarashi is the founder of New World Securities Pvt Ltd. (founded in 2011) and holds the title of Chairman.

He is also the Founder and Chairman of FEAWM Holdings – Japan / Malaysia / Sri Lanka, Chairman of NWS Holdings (Pvt) Ltd., NWS Management Services (Pvt) Ltd., and the Director of NWS Financial Services (Pvt) Ltd.,

He is former jobs include being Chairman of Ramboda Falls Plc, Independent Non-Executive Director of Pan Asia Banking Corporation Plc (from 2012 to 2021), Founder and Chairman of Ideal Ideal Finance Ltd., Non-Executive Director of Bansei Royal Resorts Hikkaduwa Plc (from 2014 to 2015), and Founder and Director of Prime Ocean Foods Pvt. Ltd. (Japanese Restaurant) , Sushi Bar Samurai Pvt Ltd – (Japanese Restaurant) .,

He established the licensed stock broker arm named New World Securities Pvt Ltd.

His investment agency FEAWM Holdings has provided M&A services to Japanese companies and investors, including the acquisition of 70% of Expolanka, the purchase of 15% shares in PABC Bank, and the trading of Sri Lankan government bonds exceeding USD 300 million.

He is the chairman of FINAXIS.
